I’m loving my Ariya so far, but man, there are definitely a few features that could take it to the next level! Nissan did a great job with the design and comfort, but seeing some of the features in other EVs makes me wish for a few enhancements.

A few things I’d love to see in future updates:
✅ More charging customization – adjustable L2 charging speeds and more kWh data in the UI.
✅ V2L functionality – would be a game-changer for road trips and camping.
✅ Dog Mode – Tesla nailed this one, and Nissan should absolutely include it.
✅ Custom ambient lighting & lighted cupholders – not a necessity, but it adds a premium feel.
✅ Summon or remote straight-line movement – seems gimmicky until you actually need it!

None of these are dealbreakers for me, but they’d be great improvements! What’s on everyone else’s wish list for future Ariya updates?

Yeah, lighted cupholders would be cool. And it bugs me that Nissan didn't put those little lights in the back doors like everyone else does. That's the one thing I'd change.

The rest of that stuff is just personal preference, I guess. I'm fine with it as long as I can easily switch it all off. Adding a bunch of extra features would just make the menus a nightmare.

Great list! I'm with you on the charging customization and being able to tweak L2 speeds and see more detailed kWh info would be super helpful. V2L is a must-have for any modern EV, so hopefully, Nissan adds that soon. While I agree the ambient lighting and cupholders are more cosmetic, they do elevate the interior. Summon is cool, though I can see it being more useful in tight parking spots than for general use. Personally, I'd also love to see improved range estimates, a more responsive infotainment system, and maybe even some over-the-air updates for performance enhancements. What about a better app with more accurate data? That's another big one for me.

I agree with some of your points. One issue I’ve had with my Ariya is the blind spot detection, which only activates when cars are moving over 25 mph. I’d also love better camera resolution, more side cameras for safety, and the option to adjust the rearview camera angle. Other features like a one-push glove box, steering-mounted drive mode selection, and adjustable regen would be great too. Lastly, an updated navigation system with better route planning would be awesome

The Ariya could definitely use more room for storing small items. The storage space in the center console feels a bit limited. I decided to add the optional tray in front of the console and I find it more useful than just havin open space. Overall I'm really enjoying the Ariya it's my first electric vehicle and I'm thrilled with it
