I hope this is the right section, I’ve been driving a Nissan Ariya FWD Evolve Pack for 5 months and am generally satisfied, but I’m experiencing several software issues like phantom emergency braking, poor A/C, and display errors. Has anyone else dealt with these or found solutions? The dealer doesn’t have updated software.

That’s a lot of issues for a 5 month car. Was it brand new when you got it?
It's worth checking your 12V battery's health. A weak battery can cause all sorts of electrical problems, including infotainment system issues. Also, try a soft reset by holding the power button.

I've noticed some odd behavior with the climate control too, especially when switching modes. It seems like it sometimes defaults to Auto mode, even when I've manually set the temperature. A quick workaround is to turn the climate control off and then back on again. The other problems may need help from your dealer.

Yes, it was brand new. I’ll check the 12V battery and try the soft reset. The climate control tip is helpful, I’ve noticed the Auto mode issue too.

Weak battery in 5 months? Only if the battery was issued from the factory. I can't find any other explanation.

My Ariya is a 2023 and from almost day 1 I have had issues with alot of things radio goes out, AC wont work then comes on, speedometer changed from MPH to KL all by itself, info screen went blank and didnt pop back on until I was driving for about 20 mins, today the navigation wont work. I am dealing with customer relations and they have me bringing the car in to dealer next week but I have been through this and they cant find anything wrong. I am very frustrated to day the least. Ready to trade it in. My husband told customer relations they can replace the car, like that's going to happen.

Seems like there’s a software issue causing multiple glitches. Have they mentioned any upcoming software updates that might fix this?

Make sure to check the 12V battary, as that could be a factor. You can also try rebooting the infotainment system by pressing and holding the power button on the volume knob until the screen restarts. I recently had a strange issue where the AC settings would change when switching modes, might have been due to accidnetally activating Auto mode. If this happens, try toggling the climate control off and on to reset it.

Thanks! I checked the 12V battery, and it was low. After charging it and rebooting the infotainment system, the issues disappeared. The A/C reset trick also worked perfectly...
