    EVIQO Charging Limit Issue

I’m noticing something odd, just set up my new EVIQO charger for my 2023 Ariya. it’s only pulling 31.5 amps. The app shows the max is set to 40 amps. I have it plugged into a NEMA 14-50 outlet on a 50-amp breaker, so everything should be set up to handle the full 40 amps. I’m planning to have...

    Washing the Ariya

What's the weather like where you're at? We had a nice, cloudy day today, so it was great for washing the Ariya. I've got hard water, so I need cloudy days to avoid those nasty watermarks.

Waiting on Nissan Approval for Tesla Charging

I’m curious if anyone’s successfully charged their Ariya at a Tesla station equipped with a Magic Dock. From what I understand, Magic Docks are supposed to add compatibility for non-Tesla EVs, but I’m not sure if that’s extended to the Ariya just yet or if we still need to wait for Nissan to...

    EV system hot

Might be the battery cooling system acting up or something. Honestly, probably just easier to have a pro check it out - don’t wanna mess with that stuff!

    Ariya Walk Away Lock

I wonder how far away you walk with the fob when your car is in the garage? Is there a distance you must go before it locks?

    Ariya Walk Away Lock

We've been enjoying our Ariya, especially the automatic locking feature. But recently, it's been acting weird, especially in the garage. The car won't lock itself anymore, even when I walk away. It doesn't seem to recognize the key fob either. This is strange because it works fine everywhere...

    EV system hot

Yesterday, I was driving to school and after like 5 minutes (going 60 km/h), I got this orange warning: "EV system hot, reduced power." I couldn't floor it. The warning would go away after a few seconds or a couple of minutes. Weirdly, it didn't happen on the way home. What could be the issue?

When to replace 12v (non traction) Battery ?

Oh, wow! Is it still hanging there? At 70k miles? That's awesome. But even so, it is probably a good idea to start thinking about a new one. Just have this in mind in case you see huge signs of slowing down.
