I received several alerts and emails about a factory recall, so I called to schedule a service. The dealership initially told me they didn’t have the parts and asked me to check back in 3-4 weeks. However, they called me back within an hour and asked if I could bring the car in that same day. They provided me with a brand new loaner as a rental, free of charge, and kept my Ariya. They mentioned that it was a potential safety hazard and needed to be taken off the road. It's been nearly four weeks now.
Is it possible to get out of the lease? I’ve had the car for 15 months on a 36-month lease. I wasn’t given any estimate on how long the repairs would take. I’m in New Jersey, could I apply the lemon law to end the lease early? Has anyone else dealt with this issue?
