Since my last routine maintenance, I’ve noticed my car losing charge while just sitting, sometimes up to 3% per day. It stays in an attached garage (40-80°F), so extreme temperatures aren’t a factor. I track my m/kWh closely and recently saw my efficiency drop just from the car sitting. For example, after parking with 82% charge and 3.8 m/kWh, two days later, it was at 79% and 3.5 m/kWh. Even overnight, I lost 1.5% charge and 0.2 m/kWh. Is this normal, or has anyone else experienced unusual phantom drain?

That's definitely not normal phantom drain, especially with those mild garage temps! Losing 3% a day just sitting is a red flag. Even overnight, 1.5% and a drop in m/kWh isn't right. Something's definitely drawing power. It could be a software glitch, a faulty module not going to sleep properly, or even a parasitic drain somewhere in the electrical system. Since it started after your last maintenance, it's worth mentioning that to the service department, maybe they accidentally bumped something or didn't fully reconnect something during the service. I'd definitely get it checked out ASAP. Don't let it go on too long, or it could drain your 12V battery too low.

I'm wondering if it's related to anything like leaving something plugged into the USB, using the A/C before turning off the car, or leaving the car unlocked in the garage.
That's a good point, I usually keep everything off, and it still seems to drain. I'll check if anything like USB devices or A/C usage before turning off could be contributing.

I agree, this doesn't sound like normal phantom drain. It could be a software issue, a module not properly going to sleep, or a parasitic drain. Since it started after maintenance, I’d mention it to the service team, they might have missed something.
