Guys, you won’t believe this! My EV decided to totally lose it on the way home from a trip. Out of nowhere, it starts yelling about an ‘’EV system shutdown,’’ and then it literally drove itself at 60 mph for a full mile with zero foot on the pedal! Tried to hit the brakes? Nah, it just sped up again.

Finally managed to pull it over at 22% charge (of course). Roadside assistance came through to tow me to a closed dealership, but after that? They disappeared. No rental, no hotel, just a good luck from them! Seriously, anyone else’s EV gone rogue like this? I'm stuck here, feeling totally lost!

Have you had the inverter update from the recall yet? A lot of Ariyas (and other EVs) with similar issues had it traced back to that. If not, push the dealer to check it out, it should be covered under warranty. Also, Nissan’s roadside assistance should have helped more, so I’d follow up with them about a rental or reimbursement. I hope you get it sorted soon.

Details. We need details! "Nissan Ariya system malfunction" isn't exactly helpful, man! What kind of malfunction? Is it the infotainment, the drivetrain, the charging system, something else entirely? Knowing the specific error codes or symptoms will help us troubleshoot. Have you tried a hard reset, or taken it to the dealer? Give us some context, and we can start brainstorming possible causes and solutions. Without more info, we're just shooting in the dark here!
