The brake lights are always on due to regen braking in one-pedal mode, and I want them to only activate with the pedal. Is there a solution? Also, efficiency has increased in the heat, is that normal?

Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to turn off the brake lights during regen braking, it’s a built-in safety feature. Some EVs let you adjust regen levels, which might reduce how often they turn on, but if you’re in full one-pedal mode, the lights are gonna stay on. On the bright side, better efficiency in warm weather is totally normal, cold temps slow down battery chemistry, so you’ll always get a little extra range when it’s warmer.

You gotta remember, B mode instead of e-step, brake light only works when you brake. And you gotta switch to it after you're in gear.

Brake lights in one-pedal mode are automatic, no override. Efficiency improves in heat since batteries perform better in warm weather, so it is totally normal.
