Considering Upgrading to the Ariya e-4ORCE

I was eager to upgrade to the Ariya 87kWh so I decided to test drive it, and I was impressed with its range and faster charging times. The e-4ORCE deal only adds $17 more per month, but I’m unsure how much the extra motor affects the range. Any advice on whether the performance boost is worth it?

Aside from range and acceleration, the cargo area is a significant difference. On an e4orce model, there is a smaller area beneath the top cargo floor for additional items. So you have to see if that's a problem too.

Good point about the cargo space. I hadn’t considered how the smaller underfloor area might impact storage. I’ll check it out during my next test drive.

I really wanted the e-4ORCE system, but it looked like they weren't offering as many colors as they said they would. I could only get two shades of gray, and they both cost extra. The two-tone paint was even more expensive.

Yeah, it is quite unfortunate when color options are limited. I get that the extra cost for paint can be annoying. Was the two-tone option really worth it for you?

I’ve been exploring the same deals and would choose the FWD version. The additional trunk space, longer range, panoramic roof, and a bit of extra cost made it a better trade-off compared to the extra power from the 4ORCE

The e-4ORCE adds more power and stability making it feel like you’ve got a personal driving assistant especially in bad weather. But it can nibble a bit into the range. If you're after performance and a little extra pep, go for it! If you’re more about stretching those miles, you might want to save the extra $17 and stick with the standard model

Ariya 87kWh is awesome! I've been interested in that model. $17/month for e-4ORCE is tempting. Check real world range data. Does your driving justify the boost?
