I just test drove the Ariya and was super impressed overall… except for one thing. When I connected my phone to test out CarPlay, the display seemed really low resolution and a bit blurry, which caught me off guard.

Is this normal for the Ariya, or could the screen have been in some odd mode that just needed a reboot? For context, I’m coming from an ID.4 where the CarPlay display is super sharp and crisp. While I know Nissan’s UI is different, I didn’t expect the screen quality to feel like a step down, especially for a flagship EV.

I admit I’m kind of picky about screen quality, so maybe it wouldn’t bother most people. This could actually influence my decision. Anyone else noticed this or have thoughts on the CarPlay display quality in the Ariya?

Maybe someone here could share a photo of their apple carplay performance?

It's funny you brought that up! My son was using CarPlay wirelessly yesterday, and suddenly it just stopped working. We've tried everything, but we can't get it to reconnect to my phone. This is the third time this has happened in the last six months, and it's starting to get really frustrating!

Not sure how bad it is for you, but do you happen to know the screen resolution?
