I unlocked my Nissan, turned on the headlights, and honked the horn effortlessly using the app. Remote climate control used to cool my car to 16° until recently, it now stubbornly resets to 25°. Despite multiple attempts, my once-perfect climate control command now betrays my desired chill.

When you mention that, I’ve noticed the same thing! At first, I thought I just missed pressing "start" in the app, but it’s happened enough times now to make me suspicious. It sounds like a software update on either the app or the car's system might have messed with the temperature settings. That 2 5-degree default is not good. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, or checking for any software updates for your Nissan. If that doesn't fix it, it's probably worth contacting Nissan support. They might have some troubleshooting tips or be aware of a known issue. Hopefully, it's just a temporary bug.
