A/C was working fine on the way to school, then dead when I went to pick the kids up. Nissan service was totally useless, so I used my coding brain and figured it was probably a software glitch. A quick battery disconnect/reconnect fixed it, thankfully. Hope it stays fixed!

Nah, I haven't messed with disconnecting the battery. I usually just do a soft reboot instead. I've heard that disconnecting and reconnecting the battery can wipe out a bunch of your personalized settings, like radio presets, climate control preferences, and maybe even some of your driving mode stuff. Didn't want to lose all that!

dead A/C in a brand new ZDX EV? Good on you for using your coding skills to figure out the battery disconnect trick. Though sometimes a good old-fashioned reboot is all it takes with these tech-heavy EVs. It definitely sounds like a software glitch, which is unfortunately becoming more common with modern cars. Hopefully, Acura pushes out a software update to address this, because relying on battery disconnects isn't exactly ideal. Keep an eye on it, and if it happens again, definitely document everything and push Acura for a proper fix. It's a premium EV, it should have premium reliability!

Is the AC still holding up, or did it glitch out again? Kinda curious if it’s actually fixed or just a temporary fix!
