Update the Nissan Ariya's infotainment system

Hey, is it possible to update the Nissan Ariya's infotainment system with the software from the Nissan Rogue? I feel like both cars have the same hardware. What do you think? ty!

Sir, interesting idea! They share similar hardware, but here is the catch. Settings and software are made based on the hardware, but there could be differences in configurations that would cause compatibility issues or errors during the update process. Actually, I am sure of that. More than that, I know that manufacturers usually lock their software to prevent cross-vehicle installations.

You definitely can't just put the Rogue's software on the Ariya. Nissan makes different software for each car, so they won't work together.

I agree with @2XWheels. There is no guarantee that this will work. If ever this will work you might encounter unforeseen issues that might cost you more. Good luck on your experiment!

I want one major update. My screen is off most of the time. When I do need to use it, I touch the icon for the screen I want and it lights up the last screen it was on. I usually have to tap the icon twice to get the screen I want.
