So I leased my 2023 Nissan Ariya in December 2023, but it’s been a disaster. I've been stranded at least seven times with "EV System Hot" warnings and had it towed twice. Other problems include random errors, a blank screen, forgotten settings, and glitchy GPS and audio. The dealership can’t replicate the issues and dismisses lemon law concerns due to their loaner car policy. I’m worried about safety, does anyone have any advice?

Since the dealership hasn’t been able to replicate the issues and dismisses lemon law concerns, it’s a good idea to start keeping a detailed log of everything - towing, repair attempts, you name it. Definitely reach out to Nissan customer service directly too. If the problems keep popping up, it might be time to consult with a lemon law attorney to get some expert advice. Your safety’s number one, so don’t be afraid to push for a solution or even a replacement. Goodluck, man!

I’ve started keeping a log of all incidents and will reach out to Nissan customer service. I’ll also look into consulting with a lemon law attorney if needed.

I've heard that there have been some problems with the batteries in new cars, including the Ariya. Apparently, there might be some issues with how they're being manufactured.

It's not a huge deal to replace the battery, and it shouldn't cost a fortune. But before I worry too much, I'm going to check if I accidentally left a door open and drained the battery. Always good to rule out the simple stuff first!
