Alan asked me to join. Don't think I will but here is my experience with ARIYA:

I had a $1000 deposit on the ARIYA ( and the Kia EV6) and thus got the opportunity to try both out. NOT impressed with the ARIYA... The EV6 is TOO MUCH A POWER/SPORTS CAR FOR ME!!

ARIYA: Way too much effort to impress people with Tech and stuff but little in daily use advantages or use. I LIKE buttons and knobs! Got my deposit back and am still thrilled with our 2019 Leaf (40 kw battery).... so much more of a useful car and VERY efficient AND handles really well.

Nissan got into the RANGE WARS BUT the 2020 with the bigger battery DID NOT HANDLE nearly as well as the 2019! Sold my 2020 Leaf (60 something battery)... and got a Kia Niro EV Limited . TOTALLY HAPPY. It even has room for a full size spare in the trunk underneath the regular trunk area. VERY EFFICIENT, over 400 km range at normal driving speeds and in situations where distance between charging stations...e.g. in Northern Labrador.. is a factor, I can get over 500 km range if i drive below 80KPH.

I'm NOT a young buyer... senior + buyer! Ariya offers nothing I need in a car BUT perhaps that is different for you!

No comparison! The Kia is so superior it is difficult to describe all the advantages . Try one and you will understand.

I think Nissan really screwed up with the ARIYA. Stopped making extremely useful cars for Tech-nerd sales.

HOWEVER I do like the exterior! Just NOT for me!

I doubt they will do well!

Sorry for the bad review but TRUTH is important.

I agree that physical buttons are important. It's clearly safer.

Glad you're loving your ev6. I'm loving my ariya. I had two leafs prior and our main family car was a kia Sedona after having a kia Sorento we loved and paid off and traded in for a Sedona. I had been enjoying Kia myself but after we had some issues with the Sedona that felt very lemony and the dealership and Kia north America said nothing they are willing to do I still have the Sedona but at that point I told them I'd never buy another Kia again.
A shame because the ev9 looks awesome but loving my ariya. You can tell the ariya was a limbo model and looking forward to the next ariya especially if they bring the nizmo to the us.
