Parking Sensor Fault with Bike Rack

Anyone else dealing with the ’’Parking Sensor System Fault’’ warning popping up, especially when the bike rack is on? It’s been happening to me a lot lately. Is there a way to temporarily turn off the sensors or maybe calibrate them so they don’t freak out over the bike rack?

If you’ve got a bike rack on, do yourself a favor and take it off when you’re not using it to avoid those annoying parking sensor alerts. Better yet, just flip that sensor off until you actually need it.

Yes, many vehicles let you temporarily disable parking sensors via settings or a physical button. I am not so sure about Nissan Ariya though..

That’s a good point! Sometimes I totally forget to take it off for a quick errand. It’d be awesome if there was a way to turn off the sensors without having to deal with removing the bike rack every single time. Is there actually a way to do it?
