Yesterday, my mum had a minor incident while leaving a shopping center. She was waiting to turn left when an impaired truck driver didn’t wait and blocked her view of oncoming traffic. As he drove off, he brushed against her car, causing scuffs on the bumper and wheel arch molding.

Should I take it to an outside body shop for a paint job, or should I get a quote from Nissan? Would it be better to call insurance, or is there another route? Any advice or parts recommendations would be appreciated

Ah, sorry to hear that, man. I'd say hit up a local body shop and get their opinion on the whole thing. If they can handle the repair and paint, it could end up being cheaper than swapping out parts. But if they think parts need replacing, Nissan’s got a list of certified shops that can handle that. Hope everything works out for you!

Okay, I’ll check with a local body shop first to see if they can handle the repairs and paint. If it looks like parts need replacing, I’ll look into Nissan’s certified shops.
