Hello all! Just shopping for used Ariya's this week and drove 2023 Engage E-Force Trim model that was immaculate at 14,000 miles. It was charged by the dealer to 92 % and showing a range of 144 miles of the EPA 205. It was sitting in the dealers' outdoor lot prior to testing probably at temperatures in range of 25-35F prior to being supercharged at the dealer right before our arrival.
My question as a newbie: given these conditions does the 30% drop in range seem normal or could more range miles be possible if car was treated differently? What should I expect in warm months typically? I will have the car outside when parked as I don't have a garage and will likely have the car plugged into level 1 power initially and then level 2 once installed.
The car is very reasonably priced, in perfect condition and drives amazing- my only concern is the range- should I aim for the bigger battery option given this car will be mostly in town driving and longest journey might be a 88 mile each way on occasion.
Thanks
