After leasing three different Nissan Leafs, and really developing a brand loyalty to Nissan….

Although we really wanted an Ariya, Nissan was entirely uninterested in selling one to us.
We went to our local Nissan dealer FIRST when it was time to get a new car, but once we explained that we had narrowed our choices down to an Ariya or a Tesla Model Y (very similar specs) - the sales people just shrugged us off. There was no negotiation, no test drive.
Instead of trying to persuade us to purchase a Nissan, they literally lost all interest and just said goodbye and good luck to us.
It was a disappointing experience to say the least.

But we are enjoying our new Tesla model Y now.

Can you tell us where you're located? Nissan Leith in Cary NC is very interested in moving Ariyas, I've leased four Leafs over the years (and ended up buying the latest one), and I'm considering an Ariya later this year.

Nissan actually does do a great job making deals for people, but you need to wait until they run the programs. In my past I've noticed they do the best deals at the end of the year and around June.

I was first informed when Ariya was first introduced. There were no incentives for leasing and it was a “buy only option”. Then bamb around Feb of 2024 Nissan started to become agressive with moving the Ariya with excellent lease deals and giving away the 7,500 discount. When I got mine I had put down $10K (was using a Nissan Rouge Sport that still had new loan. The dealership took that off my and and since they were buying out the loan. I did not want any negitive equity going into the Ariya lease. The dealership proviuded a 9K discount with my 10K which included, the taxes, registration, destination and doc fees and first months payment. I am paying 388 a month an the Evolve FWD which was special ordered for me. After the Lease I going to by the car and total vaule is 27,400. THe Evolve FWD is around 53K. I got great deal. Strange how the deealership did not want to discuss moving the Ariya.
